lurker: someone who uses social media only to watch, like a stalker or voyuer, but without the negative connotations
newbie:someone new to the Internet, a social media platform, or basically anywhere
selfie: a picture one takes of one's self, usually taken by holding a phone at arm's length
tweet: an update posted on twitter
